The Daycare Progresses

If some of you don't know we are starting a Daycare in Springfield with my parents. here are the progress pictures from the first 3 days. I have before pictures that I will post later once John gets them to me. Sorry for the bad quality Mom took them.(My camera lense was also dirty but....)

I don't really have anything new to post. Things have been pretty quiet around here. I've just been busy getting the house ready for company. I did promise to post once a week so here it is. These are the pictures I took with my phone on the way home from our trip to LC. Gene was really cute because he insisted on pulling his spounge bob suit case.

playing in the snow

I can remember last year when Gene would get so mad because a snowflake hit him in the face. This year it has been so fun. John and I have always loved playing in the snow (yes even when we got married) we have even built a 6ft snow dog of Vegas. We have built a total of 5 snow men/women( John, Me, Gene, Zion, and Grandpa) in the past week. Zion doesn't like the snow yet so we have to wait until he takes his naps to go outside and roll snow. Last summer John built Gene an outside play gym with a slide. This winter Gene has found out that it is very FAST and FUN to go down it when there is snow on it. He must have gone down the slide yesterday atleast 50 times. I can always get him to come inside with a bribe of hot chocolate.

AHHHHH they grow up so fast!!!

I can remember when Gene would scream and cry whenever the Chiropractor touched him for an adjustment. Now he lays on the table like a big boy and doesn't make a peep. He gets off now and says "all fixed mom" and "I feel better now". It is really cute but also makes me sad to know that my first born is growing up so fast. It sometimes makes me teary eyed when I see Gene acting like a big boy. I know I will be extra sad when he stops taking naps with me and asking if he can snuggle:)

Visiting Family

From December 28- January 5 John and I took the kids to Las Cruces to visit family. It was really fun to see everyone and thier kids. It was fun to spend New Years Eve together and playing games. Gene loved playing with his cousins and grandma and grandpa. Zion had fun watching all the kids running around the house and enjoyed getting in the middle of everything.

New Year Resolution!!!

With a little persuation for mom I have decided to update my blog at least once a week so please check back once a week for my new posts.
