Helper man

John for the past few years has done the sign at the Church to make it look nice. This year Gene helped out. He worked hard and didn't stop for a whole 1.5 hours. He is such a hard worker. He is always asking me if he can help with something. It will be nice when he gets older and can actually do some good hard work.

Wooden train.

We stopped at a park on our way home and Gene was in heaven. Also you can see my prego belly at 25 weeks. I have meant to post an update on the belly but haven't remembered. Both boys loved playing on this train.

The Boys

This past week has been great. The boys finally really started to play together. They are so fun to watch. Gene is a really fun big brother and likes to entertain Zion. I was cooking dinner the other day and Zion woke up from his nap, and I was on my way up to get them and then I hear laughing in Zions room. Well Gene slipped upstairs and put tons of toys in Zion's crib and then climbed in there with him. They were so cute I wished I got a picture. They also play ball around the house and push cars around for hours. It's soooooo nice to have gene and Zion playing together. They will both have a really fun summer.

Gene also likes to drive Zion around on his power wheel.

Moving Along

Fun day at the park

Well finally here in Ohio the snow has all melted and it was actually warm enough outside to only have a light jacket on. I decided to take advantage of the break in the weather to go to the park and let the kids play. Gene just loves the park. He loves to slide down the slides and climb all the things he possible can. Zion can't walk on his own yet (bummer) but he still had fun at the park. He is going to be the dare devil of the family, he has no fear of anything. He climbs up the steps for the play ground equipment and then goes as fast as he can over to the slides and dives head first down the slide. It scared me at first because I had to hurry and catch up to him (its one of the three slides hooked together). He laughs the whole way down and cant wait to do it again. The other picture is outside our house with the sandbox. Gene absolutely loves the sand box. Zion wasn't sure what you were supposed to be doing with it so he just stood there and watched Gene play. I'm really looking forward to this summer because the boys are going to have such fun together.

Zion

This was just something funny Zion has been doing for the past couple of days. He has been playing with this tub for hours, just pushing it around and laughing up a storm. Sometimes he will even put stuff into the tub and push it around. He also sticks it on his head and looks at you threw the plastic. Zion's laugh is very fun and I can't stop smiling when he laughs. He is not walking yet but hopefully soon. He will sometimes stand up in the middle of the room and walk to me. When he does this he always has the biggest grin on his face.

Gene

Gene is such a fun boy to have around. He is always wanting to play and is a great big brother. He told me that he wants the baby to get bigger because he wants to share a room with Zion. Hopefully Zion feels the same way. These are pictures of Gene being silly and playing with some manly dress up outfit. He talks pretty really well. (at least I can understand 99% of what he says) He loves to go to the YMCA and swim. He can swim really well. He wears a life jacket but can float on his back and turn in all different directions as well as swim like a fishy. He is very good at staying in his room and having "quite time" until Zion wakes up and I'm forced to get out of bed lol. (no point in getting up at 8 if I don't have to). he is also 100% competent in playing games on our iPhone's, it is pretty funny to watch. We just love having him in our family.
